Bathurst Regional Council invites the Bathurst community to provide comment on the Draft Flood Study Update.

This is particularly important for any one in flood or flood-affected areas. 

A series of one-on-one sessions will be held to allow individuals to raise concerns. Session details are noted below.

RSVPs to attend are essential and should be made to Council’s Engineering Department on 6333 6100 or email Minette.Engelbrecht@bathurst.nsw.gov.au

• Council will need to collect some information as part of the booking process

Council also invites written submissions in relation to the Draft Bathurst Flood Study Update.

Any submission must be lodged with Council by 4.00pmFriday 28 August 2026 and include your name and address. Any submission that you make maybe included without alteration (including names and addresses) in reports that are available to the public in Council business papers. Council will consider all submissions made to it, but to influence the Council’s decision any submission you make must be relevant and well founded.

Written submissions can be lodged through Council’s Yoursay page, by emailing council@bathurst.nsw.gov.au or addressed to The General Manager PMB17 Bathurst NSW 2795.
